Site Works Inspector – Water & Wastewater Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking experienced Site Works Inspectors to oversee construction and quality assurance activities for water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Fiji. The role involves ensuring that all site works meet engineering standards and occupational health and safety (OHS) requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct on‑site inspections of civil, mechanical, instrumentation and electrical works.
• Verify compliance with design specifications, construction standards, and OHS regulations.
• Document findings, issue non‑conformance reports, and follow up on corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project engineers and contractors to resolve technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance to field teams to maintain quality and safety standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of experience in construction or quality assurance of water and wastewater infrastructure.
• Professional background in civil, mechanical, instrumentation or electrical engineering.
• Proven track record of monitoring and enforcing OHS standards on construction sites.
