Service Officer

About the role

The Service Officer supports the Service Manager in daily branch operations, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and delivering excellent customer service. This role focuses on vault and ATM cash management, tellering functions, and risk mitigation to protect the bank’s reputation and financial assets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Service Manager with vault/ATM cash level monitoring, vault operations, and tellering activities.
• Ensure strict adherence to BSP/AMLA regulations, internal policies, and external regulatory rules.
• Execute service initiatives aimed at increasing deposits, fees, and revenue through cross‑selling and referrals.
• Identify and eliminate operational errors, lapses, or irregularities to manage risk.
• Maintain high service standards by providing fast, accurate, and error‑free processing for client satisfaction.
• Oversee productivity and administrative tasks within set guidelines, budgets, and limits.
• Coach and mentor Service Associates to ensure proper training and performance.

Required profile

• Graduate with a four‑year degree in business or a service‑oriented discipline.
• Extensive knowledge of bank policies and branch‑operation procedures.
• Ability to stay focused, organized, and handle high‑stress situations.
• Sales or marketing experience in a banking environment is an advantage.
