Senior Software Engineer (DevSecOps)

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer in the DevSecOps team, you will integrate security tools into our technology stack and CI/CD pipelines, leveraging AI coding agents and the Model Context Protocol (MCP) to automate workflows and accelerate development. You will work closely with SOC, GRC, and AppSec teams to deliver secure, data‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimise and maintain backend integrations using modern scripting languages and AI coding agents.
• Design and implement APIs and cloud‑based applications for the GRC department, including MCP servers/tools that expose internal security data securely.
• Integrate security solutions into CI/CD pipelines, ensuring AI‑generated code is automatically scanned and validated.
• Use data to support IT‑GRC risk reporting, employing AI agents to parse and structure complex security logs.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless integration and continuous improvement of platforms and workflows.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation, embedding security‑by‑design principles into AI‑driven templates.

Required profile

• Strong experience integrating security tooling with DevOps pipelines and infrastructure automation.
• Hands‑on experience working with AI coding agents and familiarity with MCP or similar frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and container orchestration technologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
