Senior Software Architect – Remote

About the role

Tether is looking for a Senior Software Architect to lead the design and implementation of next‑generation financial infrastructure. You will work remotely with a global team to build scalable, secure solutions that enable tokenized assets, stablecoins and other digital finance products.

Key responsibilities

• Define architectural vision for blockchain‑based financial platforms.
• Design and oversee implementation of micro‑services, APIs and distributed systems.
• Collaborate with product, engineering and security teams to ensure high performance and compliance.
• Mentor engineering teams and drive best‑practice adoption.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and integrate them where they add value.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a software architect in fintech or blockchain environments.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, security and scalability challenges.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Track record of delivering complex, high‑impact projects on a global scale.
