Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure & Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

Parallels is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who thrives on building resilient, scalable cloud infrastructure on Azure while supporting on‑premises Linux environments. You will work closely with development and infrastructure teams to design secure solutions that power global productivity.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, deploy and manage Azure cloud solutions ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Design and implement network infrastructure, including routing, VPNs, firewalls, load balancers, and DNS.
• Collaborate with software teams to translate application requirements into robust cloud and network architectures.
• Develop, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines for cloud‑native and hybrid workloads.
• Apply best practices for security, performance, cost optimisation, and monitoring of production systems.
• Lead strategic infrastructure projects and contribute to long‑term technology roadmaps.
• Mentor team members on Azure, networking and Infrastructure‑as‑Code technologies.

Required profile

• Extensive experience designing and operating Azure cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of networking concepts such as DNS, VPN, subnetting, firewalls, load balancing and routing.
• Proven expertise with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform.
• Hands‑on experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong background in Linux system administration and hybrid cloud integrations.
