About the role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Corporate Secretarial Officer to lead board and committee administration across multiple client structures. The role combines specialist governance expertise with the ability to mentor a team, ensuring high‑quality minutes, compliance, and seamless meeting logistics.
Key responsibilities
- Organise and manage board and committee meetings for funds, trusts, corporates and private clients.
- Draft accurate, professional board minutes and prepare comprehensive board packs and agendas.
- Advise boards and senior management on corporate governance best practices, statutory obligations and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate all board logistics, including scheduling, venue arrangements and virtual/hybrid set‑ups.
- Oversee the use of board management software and compliance tracking tools.
- Train and mentor team members on governance processes, board procedures and minutes drafting.
- Record time on the company’s time‑recording system with clear narratives and meet financial targets.
- Contribute to process improvements and act as the go‑to expert for board‑related queries.
Required profile
- Proven experience handling corporate governance for funds, trusts, corporates and private clients.
- Exceptional minutes‑writing ability with a focus on accuracy, confidentiality and professionalism.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Demonstrated capability to train, mentor and develop junior staff.
- Excellent relationship‑management skills with boards and senior leadership.
- Commercial mindset with a proactive, can‑do attitude.
