Regional Manager – Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL)

About the role

The Regional Manager will lead growth, operational excellence, and strategic partnerships for our Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) business in Benin City. You will act as the key regional representative, driving merchant adoption, ensuring compliance, and delivering financial performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional business plan aligned with national BNPL strategy and revenue targets.
• Identify new merchant categories, distribution channels, and growth opportunities.
• Build and manage relationships with merchants, aggregators, and payment partners, negotiating terms and marketing agreements.
• Oversee merchant onboarding, compliance, transaction performance, and collaborate with product, risk, and finance teams.
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales and account managers, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Own regional revenue, portfolio quality, and profitability KPIs, preparing regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field (MBA preferred).
• Minimum 3 years in a regional or multi‑market management role.
• Proven track record in B2B sales, partnership development or channel management.
• Strong understanding of BNPL, consumer credit, or digital payments ecosystems.
