About the role

Printec, a global provider of printing and office supply solutions, is seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to lead FMCG sourcing activities from its Karachi office. The role focuses on managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring cost‑effective procurement.

Key responsibilities

• Source and procure products within the FMCG category.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to achieve cost‑efficient procurement.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, and compliance with company standards.
• Maintain consistent inventory supply and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and competitor activity to inform procurement strategy.
• Coordinate with internal teams for demand planning and purchase order management.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reporting.
• Analyze procurement data to identify cost‑saving opportunities and optimize sourcing strategies.
• Leverage existing industry contacts to enhance supplier networks and sourcing efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and relevant government regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in FMCG sourcing or procurement.
• Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
• Proven track record of managing suppliers and closing deals.
• Good understanding of pricing, supply chains, and sourcing strategies.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written English skills.
• Based in Karachi, Pakistan.
