Nurse Clinician (ICU) – Cardiac ICU

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Clinician to join the Cardiac ICU of a private acute hospital in Singapore. The role involves delivering high‑quality nursing care to critically ill cardiac patients and supporting the unit’s clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to ventilated and high‑acuity cardiac/ cardiothoracic ICU patients, including post‑operative CABG and IABP cases.
• Mentor and train junior nursing staff, develop competency frameworks and support clinical education.
• Participate in quality improvement projects, audits and the development of standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required profile

• Current or recent Nurse Clinician or senior ICU nursing experience.
• Prior experience working in Singapore acute hospitals.
• Valid registration with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).

Required skills

• Ventilator management.
• Cardiac ICU procedures (CABG, IABP, post‑operative cardiac care).
• Clinical training and competency development.
• Quality improvement, audit and SOP development.
