Loss Prevention Supervisor

About the role

The Loss Prevention Supervisor ensures the safety and security of guests, employees, and assets at the Sheraton Nouakchott Hotel. Working part‑time on‑site, you will lead emergency response, conduct inspections, and uphold the hotel’s security standards.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property, secure rooms and assist guests with access.
• Conduct emergency‑response drills, daily safety inspections, investigations and key‑control audits.
• Monitor CCTV systems and alarm panels, authorising and documenting access to restricted zones.
• Respond to accidents, provide first aid/CPR, and coordinate with EMS when needed.
• Prepare detailed incident reports while maintaining confidentiality.
• Defuse disturbances, escort unwelcome persons and enforce alcoholic beverage control laws.
• Support management in training, coaching and motivating security staff.
• Maintain professional appearance, adhere to company policies and protect proprietary information.
• Deliver courteous guest service, answer phones with proper etiquette and resolve complaints.

Required profile

• Physical stamina to stand, walk or run for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Strong judgment and ability to remain calm in emergency situations.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with hotel teams.
• First‑aid/CPR certification and any local security licensing as required.
• High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
