Legal Executive – In-House Finance & Investment Manager

About the role

This position is for an experienced legal executive/paralegal who will support the finance and investment team in the settlement of commercial real‑estate loan transactions. The role is highly business‑facing, requiring close collaboration with internal departments and external parties such as banks and solicitors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full life‑cycle of property loan and mortgage matters, from approval through settlement to funding.
• Prepare and review financial documentation required for loan settlements.
• Liaise with banks, solicitors and other external stakeholders to ensure smooth transaction flow.
• Coordinate with internal legal and finance teams to align on settlement timelines and requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial documentation and settlement processes for property loans or mortgages.
• Strong understanding of commercial real‑estate financing and CRE debt structures.
• Ability to work on‑site five days a week in an Auckland CBD office.
