Innovation Pod Manager

About the role

The Innovation Pod Manager will lead the flagship Tech Hub of the newly created National Innovation Agency in Togo. Reporting to senior officials in the Ministry of Public Service Efficiency and Digital Transformation, the manager will drive the implementation of the country’s digital transformation agenda by fostering entrepreneurship, building digital talent, and coordinating a network of innovation pods across all 117 municipalities.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the strategic roadmap for the Tech Hub and its associated innovation pods.
• Coordinate with government ministries, private sector partners, and international donors to align programmes with national priorities.
• Oversee the delivery of business advisory services, training programmes, and market intelligence to startups and SMEs.
• Manage a multidisciplinary team of researchers, entrepreneurs, and digital talent developers.
• Monitor and report on the impact of innovation initiatives, ensuring alignment with the agency’s performance metrics.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing innovation programmes or technology hubs, preferably in a public‑sector context.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation, entrepreneurship ecosystems, and talent development.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across multicultural environments.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving, results‑oriented setting and navigate complex bureaucratic structures.
