INEE Minimum Standards Integration Consultant – South Sudan

About the role

The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking a consultant to support the integration of the 2024 INEE Minimum Standards into education planning processes in South Sudan. The consultant will work closely with the INEE Minimum Standards Coordinator, UNICEF, UNESCO, and other key education actors to ensure the standards are embedded in national and sub‑national planning documents.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate stakeholder engagement and provide technical guidance on applying INEE Minimum Standards.
• Deliver training sessions and workshops for education sector partners.
• Adapt and contextualize tools and guidance materials for South Sudan’s education planning frameworks.
• Support real‑time integration of standards into Transitional Education Plans, Education Sector Plans, Humanitarian Response Plans, and related documents.
• Document lessons learned and contribute to the Proof of Concept report for future replication.

Required profile

• Experience working in education planning or humanitarian education contexts.
• Familiarity with INEE Minimum Standards and education sector coordination mechanisms.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple UN agencies and local partners.
