Group Insurance Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Group Insurance Manager to lead and coordinate international insurance programmes across the PALFINGER group. The role combines policy development, claims handling and risk‑management support for our global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage international insurance programmes, policies, claims administration and loss‑control initiatives.
• Build and nurture relationships with brokers, insurers, underwriters and service providers to secure favourable coverage terms.
• Provide expert advice on insurance‑related risk and compliance to PALFINGER subsidiaries.
• Promote risk‑management principles and loss‑prevention procedures throughout the organisation.
• Investigate, negotiate and allocate claims in collaboration with international loss adjusters and insurers.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in international insurance business (broker, insurer or corporate insurance department).
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Engineering or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of insurance statutes, regulations and common law.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Advanced MS Office skills.
