About the role

The Finance Assistant will support the Accountant in the Finance Department by maintaining accurate daily transaction records, preparing balance sheets, and processing invoices. This role ensures smooth financial operations and timely interactions with suppliers.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist the Accountant in preparing monthly Management Accounts.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and cash preparation.
  • Process and follow up on payments to maintain good supplier relationships.
  • Prepare monthly sales invoices and reconcile claims accounts.
  • Compute pre‑payments and accruals for management meetings.
  • Monitor accounts receivable and payable ageing.
  • Maintain orderly financial records for easy stakeholder access.

Required profile

  • Diploma in Accounting; ACCA Level 1 is an advantage.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong ethics and ability to handle confidential data.

Required skills

  • Basic accounting/book‑keeping knowledge.
  • Advanced MS Excel proficiency.
  • Understanding of financial regulations.
  • Bank reconciliation expertise.
