Field Collection Officer

About the role

The Field Collection Officer will conduct on‑site visits to customers with overdue payments, negotiate repayment arrangements, and recover assets when necessary. This role supports the company’s credit risk management by ensuring timely collection and maintaining strong relationships with local authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Visit customers with overdue installments to collect payments and update repayment status in the system.
• Communicate with borrowers to understand repayment challenges and negotiate feasible repayment plans.
• Retrieve devices or collateral from defaulted customers following company procedures.
• Coordinate with local police authorities to assist in the recovery of long‑overdue or fraudulent cases.
• Report collection progress, field observations, and potential fraud cases to the supervisor regularly.
• Collaborate with risk control and customer service teams to improve overall repayment rates.

Required profile

• Prior experience in loan collection, field recovery, or related financial services is preferred.
• Strong sense of discipline, accountability, and ability to work under pressure.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned Local Government Areas for on‑site visits.
• Proficiency in local languages and basic English communication.
• Honest, reliable, and familiar with the local geography and market environment.
