ER Specialist, HR Service

About the role

The ER Specialist is a key member of the HR Services team, responsible for maintaining positive workplace relations and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. The role supports managers and employees by handling grievances, investigations, and employee‑engagement initiatives while contributing to continuous service improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage workplace relations, resolve conflicts and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
• Handle employee relations issues such as grievances, disciplinary matters and investigations.
• Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff on ER policies and procedures.
• Assist in designing and implementing employee engagement programs.
• Monitor ER trends, analyse data and recommend improvements.
• Maintain and develop regional legal resources and government relationships.
• Create and update HR documentation, including employment contracts and policies.
• Support daily HR service operations during operational absences.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• A diploma or degree; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee relations, preferably in a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR processes such as onboarding, off‑boarding, and leave management.
• High level of integrity, strong verbal and written communication in English and Chinese; additional language skills (Korean or Thai) are a plus.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Customer‑focused attitude with empathy and service orientation.
