Business & Economics Teacher (Part-time)

About the role

Northfields International School is seeking a part‑time Business & Economics Teacher to join its vibrant faculty. The successful candidate will deliver the Business Studies and Economics curriculum to secondary students, supporting both the Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Business Studies and Economics across Years 7‑12.
• Prepare and mark assessments, providing constructive feedback to students.
• Adapt teaching materials for SEN and EAL learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain accurate records and contribute to school reporting requirements.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in Business, Economics or a related field.
• Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, IB certification) and experience teaching the Cambridge or IB curricula.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Commitment to the holistic development of students.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Cambridge IGCSE Business Studies and IB Economics curricula.
• Lesson planning and assessment design.
• Proficiency with digital learning platforms and classroom technology.
