About the role
Mastercard Services is seeking a Business Development Manager who speaks Greek to drive growth across Cyprus, Greece and Malta. The role sits within the Services Business Development team and is responsible for creating demand for Mastercard’s portfolio of consulting, loyalty, data‑driven and risk‑management services.
Key responsibilities
- Shape and execute Mastercard Services growth strategy in Cyprus, Greece and Malta.
- Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and proposal writing to demonstrations and contract execution.
- Collaborate with Mastercard account managers and clients to uncover new business opportunities and ensure stakeholder alignment.
- Build effective relationships at all levels of client organisations and internally across Mastercard.
- Work closely with divisional leads, the Country Manager and local leadership to promote the Services agenda.
- Identify client pain points, root causes and propose solutions using a consultative selling approach.
- Partner with project teams to ensure delivery quality and identify follow‑up sales opportunities.
Required profile
- Undergraduate degree required; Master’s, MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in strategy consulting, preferably within financial services or payments.
- Proven track record of business development and B2B sales.
- Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships across multiple countries.
