Blockchain Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Blockchain Security Engineer to ensure the security and integrity of our blockchain‑based systems. You will identify vulnerabilities, implement safeguards, and support secure development across smart contracts, infrastructure, and integrations.

Key responsibilities

• Review and secure smart contracts to prevent vulnerabilities and exploits.
• Conduct security assessments of blockchain components, including contracts, APIs, and infrastructure.
• Identify risks in transaction flows, wallet integrations, and key management.
• Implement and enforce secure coding practices for blockchain development.
• Perform code reviews, penetration testing, and vulnerability analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to remediate security issues.
• Monitor systems for potential threats and respond to incidents.
• Document security findings and recommend mitigation strategies.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in security, software engineering, or related roles.
• 1–3 years of hands‑on blockchain or smart‑contract security experience.
• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals and architecture.
• Ability to balance security with system performance and usability.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with the Ethereum ecosystem and smart contracts.
• Knowledge of common smart‑contract vulnerabilities (reentrancy, overflow, access‑control issues, etc.).
• Familiarity with security tools and auditing frameworks.
• Understanding of cryptographic principles and secure key management.
• Experience with backend systems, APIs, and cloud environments.
• Working knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
