About the role
The Beauty Advisor will work on the sales floor of Holt Renfrew, building lasting relationships with clients and driving revenue for luxury beauty brands. This position focuses on delivering exceptional service, personalized product recommendations, and creating memorable in‑store experiences.
Key responsibilities
- Provide extraordinary customer service and exceed personal sales and service targets.
- Develop and maintain a loyal client base through proactive outreach, follow‑up communications and event invitations.
- Share expert product knowledge with the wider store team and stay current on brand launches.
- Execute visual merchandising, floor recovery, price changes and other sales support tasks.
- Identify marketing opportunities, recommend assortments and assist with event execution.
- Resolve customer issues and collaborate with selling management on escalated matters.
- Attend all vendor and internal training sessions to continuously improve product expertise.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum two years of experience in a commission‑based sales environment, preferably luxury retail.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Strong collaborative mindset and ability to multitask with minimal supervision.
Required skills
- Make‑up artistry or aesthetics certification (may be required for specific brands).
- In‑depth product knowledge of luxury beauty brands.
- Visual merchandising and floor recovery techniques.
