About the role
The Associate, Audit & Control supports the Cash Office by handling switchboard duties, general office tasks, accounts payable, and daily balancing functions. You will also provide internal services to the store, including procedural inquiries and employee parcel checks.
Key responsibilities
- Answer inbound customer calls following company standards and route them accurately.
- Maintain the phone directory and oversee repairs of technical systems such as POS.
- Provide financial support through banking reconciliation, invoice coding, petty cash management, and chargeback investigations.
- Manage Customer’s Own Goods and track no‑inventory value items.
- Ensure general office practices are upheld and maintain a tidy workplace to mitigate loss.
- Conduct departmental audits of company policies and procedures and follow up to ensure compliance.
- Adhere to privacy policies, regulations, and cybersecurity measures.
Required profile
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in retail.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational abilities, and effective written and verbal communication.
Required skills
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience using POS systems and other technical retail platforms.
