Assistant Manager Cloud Network & Security Planning

About the role

The Assistant Manager will act as a technical resource responsible for the design, planning, rollout, optimization and financial management of the IP network and cloud‑based security infrastructure. The role involves integrating cutting‑edge networking technologies, management tools and converged infrastructure to support the organization’s network strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Design, plan, implement, troubleshoot and optimize IP core and SDN networks (Huawei Cloud Stack HCS, Nokia Cloud Nuage).
• Manage firewalls (Eudemon – Huawei, SRX – Juniper), routers (NetEngine – Huawei, ZXR10 – ZTE), switches (CloudEngine – Huawei, ZXR10 – ZTE) and EMS platforms (NCE Cloud Fabric, SecoManager, HiSec – Huawei).
• Drive network evolution toward NFV, CNF and SDN architectures.
• Forecast project costs, control budgets and coordinate procurement.
• Create architecture diagrams and high/low‑level designs for new solutions.
• Schedule and verify rollouts, expansions and upgrades, ensuring proper test plans.
• Analyze traffic reports to detect KPI deviations and capacity issues.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and vendors for planning and implementation.
• Execute configuration loading, software/hardware upgrades, migrations and re‑parenting activities.
• Implement advanced protocols such as SRv6, EVPN, VxLAN, IGP, BGP, MPLS, ACLs, IPS, IDS and NAT.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Telecom or Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience in mobile network planning, design, implementation and optimization.
• Hands‑on experience with IP routers & switches (Huawei, ZTE), network security (firewalls, DDoS, EDR/NDR), SDN solutions (Huawei, Nokia) and network management platforms (NCE Fabric, HiSec).
• Proven ability to manage large‑scale data/voice networks and security projects.
• Strong understanding of network architecture, design, planning, implementation and optimization.
