Android Engineer

About the role

Cavista Technologies is seeking an innovative Android Engineer to help shape the next generation of mobile health solutions. You will work in a collaborative, agile environment to design, build, and launch high‑quality native Android applications.

Key responsibilities

• Define product features together with product management, UX design, and engineering teams to deliver home‑health solutions.
• Drive system architecture, implement, test, and deploy new Android features in an agile workflow.
• Champion best practices in code design, conduct reviews, identify performance bottlenecks, and propose enhancements.
• Maintain and expand reusable artefacts such as libraries, demos, and documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience building complex native Android apps using MVP or MVVM patterns.
• 3+ years of experience publishing apps on the Google Play Store.
• Proven ability to take a feature from requirements gathering through launch.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project‑management skills with a focus on performance, user experience and scalability.
• Effective communication across cross‑functional teams (Product, UI/UX, Back‑end).
