Analyst I – Insights & Analytics

About the role

As an Analyst I in Insights and Analytics at Checkout.com, you will support the Operations and Commercial teams by turning data requests into actionable insights. You will work closely with the BI/Analytics team to build data models, ensure data quality, and create dashboards that drive decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Manage data synchronisation and content‑automation platforms, improving reporting templates and creating enablement content for end‑users.
• Support the compilation of recurring executive reporting for Operations and Commercial departments.
• Build and maintain data‑quality assurance scripts, collaborating with internal stakeholders to identify and remediate discrepancies.
• Operationalise data requests through visual dashboards, ad‑hoc reports, queries, or manual compilation, and work to scale and automate these processes with the BI/Analytics team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, mathematics, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in an analytical role, preferably with exposure to sales, marketing, or operational data.
• Basic understanding of analytical concepts and techniques.
• Strong analytical skills in data analysis, manipulation, and visualisation.
• Experience with data modelling, forecasting, and regression analysis.
• Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SQL and data‑visualisation tools is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
