AI Adoption Lead

About the role

The International Rescue Committee’s Airbel Impact Lab is seeking an AI Adoption Lead to embed artificial intelligence into daily operations across the department. This role focuses on understanding existing workflows, identifying tasks suitable for AI, and redesigning processes to boost efficiency and impact without writing traditional code.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose current workflows and co‑design AI‑enabled solutions with pillar and support teams.
• Rapidly build functional tools, automations, and templates using low‑code/no‑code AI platforms.
• Establish a lightweight intake and prioritisation process for AI projects, ensuring high‑value opportunities are addressed first.
• Support multiple teams simultaneously, providing hands‑on guidance and fostering AI super‑users who become independent champions.
• Develop reusable resources and documentation to sustain AI adoption across the department.

Required profile

• Solutions‑driven mindset with a passion for humanitarian impact.
• Proven experience designing and implementing AI‑enabled workflows in a collaborative environment.
• Ability to work across diverse teams, communicate technical concepts clearly, and build local capacity.
• Self‑starter who can operate as an individual contributor while influencing broader organisational change.
