About the role
Saint Louis University’s Anthropology Program is seeking part‑time adjunct faculty to teach undergraduate anthropology courses on an ongoing basis. Selected candidates will join a pool of qualified instructors and will be contacted when specific course openings arise.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver in‑person undergraduate lectures for courses such as Introduction to Anthropology and Cultural Anthropology.
- Prepare and update course materials, syllabi, and assessments.
- Engage students through discussions, assignments, and fieldwork activities.
- Maintain academic standards and grading consistency.
Required profile
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in anthropology or a closely related discipline.
- Teaching experience or relevant professional experience in anthropology preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and support staff.
