Freelance NZ English Content Editor (Fintech)

About the role

We are seeking a native‑level New Zealand English editor to review and optimise existing blog articles for a global fintech brand operating in money transfer and remittance. The freelance position focuses on improving content quality, SEO performance and relevance for the NZ market.

Key responsibilities

• Review and optimise existing blog posts (up to ~1,500 words each).
• Incorporate target keywords, improve internal linking and update outdated information.
• Ensure content meets NZ English standards and aligns with the tone of a consumer‑facing fintech brand.
• Follow SEO briefs and content plans provided by the client.
• Deliver edited files in the agreed format within strict deadlines.

Required profile

• Native‑level NZ English speaker with strong editorial experience.
• Solid understanding of on‑page SEO principles.
• Experience editing finance, banking or regulated‑industry content preferred.
• Detail‑oriented, fast and confident making editorial decisions with minimal guidance.

Required skills

• On‑page SEO (keyword usage, meta structures, content hierarchy).
• Content editing and optimisation.
• Familiarity with fintech or financial services terminology.
• Ability to work to tight deadlines and deliver in the required format.
