Senior Business Development Manager – Sports Category

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to lead the sports category on the SHEIN platform. You will be responsible for building and managing supplier relationships, negotiating terms, and shaping procurement strategies that drive growth in the European market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and assess wholesalers and distributors in the sports sector, leveraging existing networks and scouting new partners.
• Negotiate pricing, minimum order quantities and contract terms to enable trial purchases and long‑term bulk agreements.
• Analyse EU sports market trends, forecast demand, and develop procurement plans aligned with sales targets.
• Collaborate with global procurement, logistics and cross‑functional teams to optimise supply‑chain efficiency and monitor supplier performance.
• Track KPIs such as on‑time delivery and seller success rate, driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in procurement, business development or vendor management within the sports industry.
• Established network of wholesalers and distributors across Europe.
• Deep understanding of EU sports wholesale processes and ability to engage suppliers quickly.
• Strong negotiation capabilities and strategic planning skills.
• Ability to interpret market feedback and adjust procurement strategies accordingly.
