About this opportunity
PDG IMS Gateways is a multi-national development organization having design ownership for IMS Gateways products in native, virtual and cloud native domain. Design owner ship with active development includes the following products: CN-IMS (cSBG, cBGF and cNSDS), vSBC (vSBG, vBGF, vNSDS, vWA), vMRF as well as native M-MGw/MRS products.
What you will do
In Gateways we believe working in Agile teams, so you must be working closely with your team members and also in close collaboration with other teams in the community.
Be an owner of the implemented functionality: from design and implementation, testing to production, troubleshooting and documentation.
Be responsible for the quality of the technical solution, functionally test the implemented solution
You will bring
MSc/BSc degree in Computer Science or related
To be a proven quick leaner in technical domains
Good written and verbal communication skills
Fluent in English (writing & speaking)
Pragmatic problem solving
Strong team spirit and being self-motivated
You are not afraid of challenging the status quo and bring new ideas to the table
To be open minded and willing to take challenges
It is an advantage if you have:
Knowledge of a functional language
Experience in use of development management systems and build tools preferably Jenkins, Artifactory, Gerrit, Git, Bazel, Cmake
Good understanding of Microservices architectures
Prior hands-on experience in developing and deploying microservices solutions on Cloud infrastructure
Expertise in the relevant Cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
Experience using and developing scalable real time solutions
You have some knowledge of the telecommunication network domain, or willing to learn
