As a Senior Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the back-end infrastructure that powers our platform, ensuring it runs smoothly, securely, and meets the needs of our customers. Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the back-end infrastructure of the Payvost platform
Design and implement scalable, reliable and secure solutions for data storage, retrieval, and querying from various sources
Optimize and improve the performance and scalability of existing systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features and services
Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and testing best practices are followed
Monitor and debug production systems, responding to and resolving issues in a timely manner
Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in back-end development and contribute to the company's technical roadmap
Requirements
A minimum of 5 years' experience in back-end development, preferably in fintech or a related industry
Strong experience with a programming language such as Python, Java, or Ruby
Solid understanding of database design, optimization, and management
Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
Familiarity with RESTful API design and implementation
Strong understanding of software development best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues quickly and effectively
