We’re looking for a highly experienced SEO Content Production Manager who will be responsible for managing the delivery of best in class content that educates and entertains our family audience. You'll be responsible for managing the SEO Content team on a fully remote (global) basis to ensure the optimization of our published content and landing pages. Experience managing a team and knowledge of best in class current SEO Content practices and standards are essential to this role. The role also requires an analytical mindset with numerical aptitude.
As our SEO Content Production Manager you’ll be responsible for Kidadl’s SEO content execution focusing on two key elements; managing the team to deliver high quality factual content at scale and producing content to deadlines. To be considered for this role you'll need to have at least 3 years experience managing SEO content teams to deliver work on time and to the required standard, as well as hiring and training team members. This position is a full-time remote contract, paid for 40 hours worked per week. You must be available to work Monday to Friday (inclusive) between 9am and 6pm UK time to perform this contract.
Responsibilities:
Team Management: Lead a diverse team of content professionals to meet or exceed quality standards and business targets.
Operational Efficiency: Manage workflows for a streamlined, effective, and efficient content department.
Recruitment & Training: Responsible for the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, all ongoing training and development requirements for team members as well as managing any offboarding processes.
Quality Assurance: Set and manage quality standards within the SEO Content Team.
Reporting: Maintain ownership of all content production output, including tracking and reporting status and performance to the Management Team.
Overall ownership of all content production output - tracking and reporting status & performance to Management Team.
Requirements
Experience: Minimum of 3 years successfully managing an SEO content team with a track record of meeting business targets.
Remote Team Management: Proven ability to manage a global, remote content team using Slack for daily communications.
Editorial Skills: Accomplished editor and sub-editor with a strong commitment to maintaining high editorial standards.
AI Tools: Familiarity with AI content tools and an interest in leveraging AI to facilitate content production.
SEO Knowledge: Current understanding of standard SEO practices, keyword research, and large website analytics.
Tool Proficiency: Experienced with Ahrefs, SEMrush, Surfer SEO, Screaming Frog, GA4, Jira, Tempo, and Google Workspace.
Versatility in producing different types of content such as articles, quizzes, worksheets, recipes, reviews, deals, and travel content.
Soft Skills: Exceptional time management, organisational, and leadership skills, along with stellar communication and attention to detail.

Experience working with the North American market.
Experience working across all content types eg articles, quizzes, worksheets, recipes, reviews, deals and discounts and travel.
