We are seeking to recruit a Sales Manager for our client in the Nigerian Oil & gas sector. As a Sales Manager, you would be responsible for managing new and existing client relationships, driving sales growth and developing business opportunities within the Northern region of Nigeria. The ideal candidate will be someone who is experienced, self-motivated, and adaptable. You will have the opportunity to work with an established team of professionals who are passionate about driving sales and providing values.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in the Northern region of Nigeria
Maintain and grow existing relationships with clients while identifying new business opportunities
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute effective marketing campaigns
Provide detailed reports on sales and marketing activities and performance to senior management
Engage in market research to identify emerging trends and competitor activities
Represent the organization at industry exhibitions and events that can drive sales
Manage a team of sales representatives within the region
Work collaboratively with other departments within the company to achieve overall company objectives
Requirements
Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales or business development roles, 5 of which should be in the Oil & gas, FMCG or Logistics industry
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or related field
A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing sales teams
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within a team
Strong negotiation skills
Ability to think strategically and solve complex problems
Willingness to travel within the Northern region of Nigeria.
