Plant Auto Electrician

As a Plant Auto Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment found in construction machinery. You will troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, determine the best course of repair, and carry out the necessary repairs. Responsibilities
Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical faults in heavy machinery such as excavators, bulldozers, and graders
Install electrical wiring and equipment in newly acquired machinery
Keep records of all maintenance and repairs carried out on equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electronic control systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics
Conduct routine maintenance checks on plant equipment to ensure that they are operating at optimum efficiency
Order and maintain an inventory of electrical parts and components
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards
Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred. A basic working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, cutting/welding, mechanicals and other ready- mix related components
Proven experience as a Plant Auto Electrician with at least 5 years of practical experience within the construction industry
In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and equipment
Knowledge of industry safety regulations and practices
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
