Job Description

Responsibilities:
· Coordinate projects of new products, development, and improvement of existing products towards ensuring accomplishment of organizations goals
· Review and recommend preparation of proposal drawings.
· Recommend appropriate materials, tolerances, GD&T, for a design.
· Provide support for design related issues that arise during production
· Create and refine mechanical part and assembly drawings to capture design intent and document the key aspects necessary to accomplish the manufacturing goals.
· Ensure budget efficiency for each production project.
· Coordinate activities of Mechanical team


Requirements
1st degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or any related field.
A master’s degree will be an added advantage
Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a similar role
Good understanding of 3D Mechanical design with inventor or solid works and solid Edge
In-depth knowledge of 3D Modelling & 2D CAD applications: Inventor, Solidworks and Fusion360
Knowledge of sheet metal design and fabrication will be an advantage.
Ability to work in a highly dynamic environment with an emphasis on teamwork, communication, and customer satisfaction.
Good oral and written communication skills.
