We work with the latest generation of networks technology. Our unit is part of Business Area Networks (BNEW) Engineering Unit Integrated RAN (EUIR) Product Engineering Unit (PEU) Compute Site Infrastructure (CSI), and responsible for developing and maintaining products and features for the purpose-built RAN Compute (Baseband), Radio Gateway (RGW), Legacy Core/Cloud portfolio and 5G+/6G test beds.
We are looking for a highly engaged and motivated R&D Line (section) manager, to accelerate our capability to secure high quality product design and solution verification across multiple domains using DORA DevOps Metrics. Our work is to innovate and create world class future products that needs to be taken from concept to release, and secure quality for the remainder of product lifecycle. We’ll need an experienced Product development leader to teach, coach, challenge and develop individuals to reach their full potential, and build high performing teams. This leader will be responsible to foster a creative and learning culture. To be successful in our product development, we have within the organization competence in multiple domains such as modular hardware, firmware, and software design, verification, test system development, and continuous integration and deployment.
What you will do
As a member of the EUIR PEU CSI RCE CHW leadership team, you will be required to drive technology and product leadership, flow optimizations, continuous learning, and innovation
Recruit, coach, develop individuals and build teams that perform at the top of their ability
Build competences and lead hardware design teams to reach challenging goals
Actively participate in supporting teams, remove impediments, encourage continuous improvements
Drive developer experience and ensure collaboration within EUIR and cross EU/BU, including BCSS
Initiate and motivate changes in the organization with focus on quality and high performance
Interact with and drive solutions towards external suppliers on the global market.
