Our Client, a multinational company in the Automobile Industry (cars and tractors), is recruiting to fill the HR Manager role in their organisation.
The preferred candidate is expected to create and implement a Human Capital Strategy that will ensure the attainment of the company’s HR aspirations by developing appropriate policies and procedures that will assist the company in recruiting, developing and motivating its workforce.
Responsibilities
• Formulation and implementation of the people strategy so as to complement the
overall strategic objectives of the company.
• Develop, implement and maintain the HR and Employee Relations policies in
conjunction with the board and the top management team so as to ensure
compliance with the company’s core values and Nigerian labour legislations.
• Develop, direct and monitor the learning and development process and activities so
as to build capacity for the bank to deliver on its products and services.
• Develop, direct and monitor the performance management processes so as to
ensure that individuals are motivated to accomplish the business objectives and are
rewarded for their achievements
• Ensure accuracy of employee data at all times
• Submit periodic HR report to guide management decision on people issues.

• Knowledge of HR systems and database
• Ability to architect HR strategies
• Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
• In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices

Work/Educational/Professional Qualifications
• Master’s degree in HR-related discipline
• Relevant professional certification
• Minimum of 5years experience in HR leadership position
