Based within the Service Area Network Design and Optimization (SA NDO), Strategic Competence Unit (SCU) is a highly qualified global service delivery team located in several countries. You will be working at the groundbreaking of technology and will be involved in projects with many diverse customers around the world. In this role, you will be a specialist and a go-to person in the field of RAN/E2E Network Design and Optimization.
What you will do
Deliver services, and also support presales, in the area of NDO RAN/E2E
Point and guide discussions with Customers (Technical Staff and Senior Management), understand customer requirements, having a deep knowledge of the Ericsson Portfolio or 3PP products, and combine these vectors into an end-to-end strategy to address customer needs, with the target to optimize Network Performance and Customer Experience
Propose solutions, develop and present technical presentations and proposals
Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing
Provide ideas and suggestions to Product Management to further improve/add/modify existing offerings within the Ericsson SW/services portfolio
Manage customer expectations, implementation of customer solutions within agreed time, scope and cost
Analyze data and deliver solutions that improve the customer network in terms of capacity, functionality and end-user services. You are expected to work across the entire Mobile Broadband eco system
You will bring
The successful applicant must have a blend of skills required to contribute in delivery and presales processes, use of consulting methodology and development of the technical expertise across the team. For this role, a Senior consultative approach towards the customer and NDO experience is needed (i.e. Experienced in using radio NDO tools). Also, we trust the candidates to have a solid track record of leading teams to successful project outcomes in international engagements. In general, the requirements could sum up to have:
Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering or IT
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in ICT Industry with experience in service delivery and pre-sales
Expertise in 5G/LTE, MBB/VoLTE, End-user experience
End to End knowledge of services, covering devices, RAN, Transport and Packet Core domains
Deep technical knowledge in RAN (the needed skills to be capable of finding solutions to tackle issues) & deep data analytics knowledge (statistical tools, methods/processes to analyze and correlate data)
Knowledge in EPC, 5G Core and IMS Mobile Networks Architecture, traffic flows, and Network Optimization/Network Design
User-Plane and Signaling-Plane knowledge (statistical and call flow based on Wireshark)
Good TCP and TCP Congestion Control Algorithms knowledge. QUIC understanding is a plus
Understanding of Routing and Switching
Data Analytics skills (MySQL, Tableau, etc.)
Ability to understand customers business objectives and be able to link them to improvements in Network Performance and End User Experience
Ability to communicate, eloquent, present and influence the C-Level (CTO, CEO…) by knowing the impact of any action/service on their business.

Location & Travelling: The position is based in Spain. Ability to travel globally as per business priorities and requirements
