As the General Manager, Electrical Engineering - Cement Plant, you will play a key role in overseeing electrical engineering functions at the cement plant and driving efficiency in operations.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategies for electrical engineering operations at the cement plant to increase efficiencies and reduce costs.
Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment at the cement plant.
Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers and technicians to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with other departments such as production, maintenance, and safety to ensure seamless operations across the cement plant.
Develop and manage the budget for the electrical engineering department and ensure adherence to financial targets.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of electrical engineering activities at the cement plant.
Liaise with external contractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of electrical engineering services.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 27 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in the cement industry.
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing plant.
Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Experience in developing and executing electrical engineering strategies to achieve operational goals.
Sound knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
