Job Description
We are currently recruiting for our client who is a multinational company in the Automobile industry for the role of a Finance Manager

Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain accounting records and documentation of sales and purchases of vehicles.
• Stock new and used cars in inventory and update accounting records.
• Maintain monthly vehicle inventory and flooring records and reconciliations.
• Code, issue, and submit lien pay outs to lien holders.
• Calculate sales commissions and prepare payroll and all source deduction remittances.
• Manage human resources which includes administration of employee benefits plan.
• Prepare monthly financial statements for management
• Prepare monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Calculate and prepare standard monthly journal entries.
• Assist with preparation of a complete year end with all adjustments made to be given to
the external accountants.
• Assist with financial activities such as preparation of yearly budgets, cash flow,
purchases.
• Monitor budget and provide cost control to ensure compliance
• Managing and coordinating monthly reporting, budgeting and forecast processes.
• Provide periodic (i.e. monthly, quarterly and annual) financial report
• Ensure prompt and accurate remittance of statutory deductions
• Other financial duties as assigned.

Requirements
Skills and qualifications
• Candidate must have strong financial and accounting background, including an
understanding of financial statement, ratios, and analysis.
• Experience working with external auditors, internal controls, and compliance-related
issues.
• A team player and goal oriented individual.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional organization and time-management skills.
Work/Educational/Professional Qualifications
• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or any other related
discipline.
• ACA/ACCA is an added advantage
• 5 years’ experience in management, financial and fund accounting.
