Fabrication Supervisor
Description
Supervise and make requisitions for materials needed for different projects/jobs.
Assist in preparing monthly chargeback of work done and supervise the fabrication workshop.
Assist to fabricate and install/fixing equipment like heat exchangers, dryers, and other processing equipment.
Design and construct any engineering project that relates to fabrication.
Supervise all the activities going on in the machinist workshop and spare production.
Ensure the turner machine and other tools and equipment are in good working condition.
Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION:
BSc/HND in Mechanical Engineering or any other related field with a minimum of two (2) years experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
COMPETENCIES:
The ideal candidate must:
Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Have a good working knowledge of lathe machines, milling machines and shaping machines.
Have the ability to read engineering drawings in detail.
Have the ability to use basic Microsoft software.
