Electrical Supervisor (Closing Date: 23 June 2023)
Description
Repair and maintain electrical aspects, controls, and cables of 2X300 tons and 2X600 tons of Central A/C chillers.
Repair and maintain high-current control panels, condensers, and electric motors in the central chilling plant.
Repair and maintain cooling towers for condensers in the chilling plant.
Repair and maintain Air Handling units (AHU) and cold stores in major buildings.
Repair and maintain all electrical aspects of Gene-bank cold stores.
Read sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
Monitor and update the inventory of spare parts.
Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION:
BSc/HND in Mechanical Engineering or any other related field with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
COMPETENCIES:
The ideal candidate must:
Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
Have a good working knowledge of the chilling plant.
Have the ability to read engineering drawings in detail.
Have the ability to use basic Microsoft software.
