Cloud Sr Solution Architect
Our Exciting Opportunity
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to join our team and work with our engineering team to optimize, implement, and maintain our organization’s cloud-based systems.
You Will:
A Cloud Engineer’s responsibilities include deploying and debugging systems, as well as executing new cloud initiatives.
Ultimately, you will work with different IT professionals and teams to ensure our cloud computing systems meet the needs of our organization and customers.
Develop and deliver data solutions to support business needs & requirements by creating and optimizing data pipelines and data models for analytical solution’s data lake / data warehouses towards specific micro services.
Translate business requirements to data solution features and create solution roadmap options proposals.
Manage compliance with analytics reference architecture by creating complaint designs and/or transition plans.
Create detailed data solution design. Write technical specifications Create solution interface or Integration specifications. Produce graphical user interfaces or storyboard specifications.
Perform operational tasks like – data loading, batch job scheduling and monitoring.
Support in defining data quality monitoring checks
To be successful in the role you are
Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
Minimum 10-16 years’ experience in Telecom.
Design, develop, and deploy modular cloud-based systems
Develop and maintain cloud solutions in accordance with best practices
Ensure efficient functioning of data storage and process functions in accordance with company security policies and best practices in cloud security
Identify, analyze, and resolve infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues
Regularly review existing systems and make recommendations for improvements
Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on client needs
Build and manage the GCP foundation platform to enable application deployments
Engineer solutions on GCP foundation platform using Infrastructure As Code methods (e.g. Terraform)
Integrate, configure, deploy and manage centrally provided common cloud services (e.g. IAM, networking, logging, Operating systems, Containers.)
Manage SDN in GCP
Ensure compliance with centrally defined Security
Ensure compliance with Operational risk standards (E.g. Network, Firewall, OS, Logging, Monitoring, Availability, Resiliency)
Build and support continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD) and continuous testing activities
Hands-on development experience on Google Compute Engine, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, Networking, Cloud Shell, Cloud IAM, Cloud SDK, Google Cloud Storage, Cloud Identity, Load Balancing, Resource Manager, Deployment Manager, VPC, Google Kubernetes Engine
Google Cloud Core Infrastructure in dept knowledge
Architecting exp with Google Compute Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Logging, Monitoring and Observability in Google Cloud with Terraform for Google Cloud
Create and Manage Cloud Resources
Perform Foundational Infrastructure Tasks in Google Cloud
Set Up and Configure a Cloud Environment in Google Cloud
Automating Infrastructure on Google Cloud with Terraform
Hands-on development experience in shell scripting, Spark, Python programming language
Python / Java / Scala programming
Debugging/troubleshooting of Spark jobs
Hands-on development experience in Big Query and performance tuning of BQ queries, BQ Data Load Jobs
Good Telecom domain knowledge
Data Ingestion & ETL: Sqoop, Flume, Nifi, Stream sets, Logstash
Data processing: Spark
Messaging system: Kafka
Scheduling and workflows: Google cloud composer
Data warehousing knowledge
Knowledge and implementation of Lambda/Kappa architecture
Knowledge on Microservices, Docker, Kubernetes,etc.,
DevOps CI/CD
