Job Description
Responsibilities
Ability to develop recipes for bread and other baked goods using local ingredients.
· Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers
· Day-to-day management of the production team to achieve operational goals.
· Design and perform routine inspections to ensure consistent product quality.
· Lead efforts to complete new product development projects within allotted timelines and budgets.
· Develop and enforce operational policies and procedures.
Ensure the bakery section of the kitchen adheres to health and safety regulations
Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in a tasteful and beautiful way
Develop new seasonal recipes and menus and keep up with the latest trends
· Document and report production activities on a routine and consistent basis.
· Prepare progress reports for management review.
· Work with management to prepare project plans, budgets, and schedules



Requirements
Skills and Qualification.
Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree / HND / OND qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of Experience as a baker.
• Interest to develop new food products using local ingredients.
• Ability to conduct team meetings to discuss project status and issues.
• Monitor project progress regularly and report the same to management and customers.
• Good Communication skills
• Flexibility to work around customer demand
• Problem-solving skills
• Good planning skills
