Backend Developer (Entry Level)
Description
A back-end web developer is responsible for server-side web application logic and integration of the work front-end web developers do. Back-end developers usually write web services and APIs used by front-end developers and mobile application developers.
We are looking for a Back-End Web Developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your coworkers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well.
Requirements
Backend:
1. Design and develop new features on the backend using web APIs.
2. Maintain and enhance existing web applications and all internal systems as integrated.
3. Play a key role in building medium to large-scale public-facing, high volume based web APIs.
4. Maintain existing web APIs and support.
5. Participate in the ongoing development of applications that meet the needs of our customers.
6. Deliver new functionality and change requests for existing applications.
7. Integration to third party APIs.
8. Perform complete testing of web APIs, units, and systems.
9. Be a team player and willing to teach and to learn.
10. Responsible for regular communication with others involved in the development process.
11. Design, build and maintain efficient and reliable C# code.
12. Proper code documentation
13. Other duties as assigned
