Multigate is a financial services platform company that provides institutions with access to safe and secure treasury and liquidity management systems. Founded in 2017, Multigate is focused on providing simplified solutions that unravel the complex payment and cash management challenges encountered by enterprise corporates in emerging markets.
Multigate is looking for an individual who has strong analytic and collaboration skills to join the Information Security team. The role entails information security monitoring, risk assessment and management of security tools used in the organization .
Multigate’s vision is to advance Africa’s economy by enabling seamless and instant transactions for Africa-based organizations trading regionally and globally. The organization currently has offices and employees in various African countries and Dubai with an ongoing restructuring project to move the company’s headquarters to the United Kingdom from Dubai.
The individual will be responsible for providing support to internal stakeholders across all the various departments and have strong collaborative skills. As a member of the team, the individual must have a completer-finisher mentality and be passionate about technology and security
Duties/Responsibilities:
Conduct compliance checks to policies, processes and standards across all business lines
Maintain Security and IT related policies and procedures
Validate the devops team’s implementation of security requirements
Maintain the IT and security risk register and review open risk with stakeholders on a quarterly basis
Support the operational risk function in the implementation of the operational risk framework
Support and monitor identity and access management controls
Track closure of vulnerabilities across technology teams
Maintain and test plans for operations during a disaster
Maintaining contact with insurance agents and brokers to review coverage needs and ensure that the organization has adequate coverage in place for all risks
Take an active role in incident management and ensure that IR processes are updated and tested regularly
Monitor trends in technology, business practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure that the plan meets current standards
Requirements
3 - 5 years’ experience working in similar roles in Financial Services or Hi-Tech companies
Information security certifications in the areas of security management or business continuity would be desirable (CRISC, CISM, CISSP, ISO 27001 LI, ISO 22301 LI, OSCP)
Experience in implementing or supporting ISO standards, including ISO 27001, 22301, 20000, PCI-DSS, PCI-SLC standards
Experience working with DevOps and CI/CD is desirable.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Experience in implementing technical security controls on cloud environments and traditional infrastructure
