Job Description
• Responsibilities:
• Assist the Cook in food preparation activities.
• Cleaning and sanitising the food preparation areas based on company and industry hygiene codes and health and safety standards.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and supplies are maintained clean and sanitised.
• Assist the cook with inventory control, unloading supplies, and storeroom organization.
• Control output and quality at the pastry station.


Requirements
Competency/Skill/Requirement
• In-depth understanding of food health and safety regulations
• Exceptional time management and organisational skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Exceptional physical stamina and strength
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to operate a variety of kitchen appliances and instruments including cutters, knives, mixers, and ovens
• Thoroughness and attention to detail.
• Certification in culinary arts is an added advantage.
• Minimum of O ’Level
