Mission:
To provide consumer insight through environmental scanning and research activities in areas of concern for the business to either track and or obtain customer insights, market intelligence, economic and competitive intelligence/research etc.
To overlay insights generated from the external environment on the internal customer data from the BIB data warehouse.
Description:
Analyze raw data, write and interpret research reports for internal studies, and summarize external ones.
Extract internal data from the data warehouse and various sources to draw insights.
Transform and analyze data for proper reporting and analysis.
Disseminate information to the relevant parties in simple and actionable formats.
Coordinate research requirements for different business units.
Track economic, market, industry, and competitive trends to provide business insights.
Liaise with agencies to analyze and report research results for both qualitative and quantitative studies and other types of research.
Identify and apply new global tools, methods, and approaches in market research.
Build analytical tools and models for use in the formulation of research analyses.
Develop strategies to foster the retention of high value segments of the market.
Ensure a reduction in wait time for analysis, to enable the business to make decisions faster, thereby reducing costs due to delays in making decisions.
Education:
First degree in any related discipline
Fluent in English
Experience:
3 - 7 years’ experience including:
Proficient use of SQL, SAS, Excel and PowerPoint for data extraction, analysis and presentation.
Work experience in a research or consultancy environment.
