About this opportunity
We are now looking for a MS Automated Operations Engineer to secure the coordination, support, management and execution of 1st Level proactive and reactive maintenance activities to ensure that services provided to customers are continuously available and performing to Service Level Agreement performance levels.
We are delivering broadcasting services for the world’s greatest broadcasters and ensure the continuity of their business evolves at the highest standards and ensure that any outages or infrastructure issues are addressed accordingly!
Some of our activities also involve monitoring of live events such as football matches, extreme sports, tennis, horse rides, as well as testing platforms on different devices, depending on our customer’s needs and how they are using our services.
What you will do
Event management activities (monitoring of the platforms availability and infrastructure, troubleshooting)
Incident management activities (engaging next level of technical teams into troubleshooting, ensuring communication with different stakeholders/customers, handling incidents in a fast paced manner – broadcasting is live most of the time)
User access management activities (providing access, modifying rights)
You will bring
Education: bachelor’s degree – preferably in engineering (IT, Telecom)
English language is a must, both written and verbal
Basic Networking knowledge
Organizational and planning skills
Good interpersonal skills, excellent active listening skills
Analytical skills, continuous driving for improvement and progress
Logical approach to solving problems
Ability to rapidly assimilate new knowledge
Willingness to learn and progress in a fast-paced environment
Customer handling experience is nice to have
Basic Linux and SQL experience or knowledge is required
Candidate should be willing to work in shifts (Days & Nights)
