Legal Counsel – EMEA

About the role

The Legal Counsel EMEA provides legal advice and support to multiple business functions across the region. Working under the guidance of senior lawyers, the role ensures that corporate activities, contracts, and policies comply with applicable laws and protect the company’s interests.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as counsel for assigned departmental or functional areas, offering advice on corporate and business issues.
• Engage with business leaders to understand objectives and flag potential legal challenges.
• Enforce internal legal policies and deliver training on specified topics.
• Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, Engineering, Marketing and other teams to ensure legal compliance of products and agreements.
• Support governance functions, public filings, entity management and regulatory monitoring.
• Assist with privacy and data‑protection compliance, including policy updates and advisory support.
• Participate in IP matters such as patent searches, infringement assessments, trademark reviews and IP litigation support.
• Work with HR on employment and labor issues, policy development and dispute resolution.
• Manage internal investigations, litigation administration and subpoena responses, maintaining accurate case reporting.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer admitted to practice in relevant jurisdictions.
• Experience in corporate, privacy, intellectual‑property and employment law.
• Ability to work under senior‑lawyer guidance and collaborate across multiple business functions.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to translate legal requirements into practical advice.
